I just found a 67 Monaco 500 to use as a parts car for my 68.
My rear quarters need to be replaced, is there any way to just take the entire rear (trunk, and both quarters) off the car and put it on mine?
Or should I just cut out what I need?
Is there a source for replacement nuts and bolts or does everyone just go to their local scrap yard.
I'm sure that you don't use nuts and bolts from your local hardware store.
I am looking for the bracket on the rear of my 68 Monaco 500 that the filler neck comes out through.
It goes from one quarter panel to the other and is attached to the chassis.
What is it called so I know what to ask for?
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes.
Here is the Fender Tag from my 68 Monaco 500.

I own a 68 Monaco 500 convertible, that is in rough shape!
I am considering starting to restore it, but I want to know if it is really worth my time.
The car was equipped with a 383 4 bbl and a 4 speed manual tranny.
The original motor has been replaced.
