car shut for while running 2 years ago. it starts runs okay for about a minute and then break up and shuts off. replaced the igntion box, no change, replaced coil, no change. replaced pickup coil in distrubtor, no change. cleaned carb and new filter which made no change. help

its a dog off the line with the stock 2.76 gears. What can i change too without hi rpm at 70? and i m got putting in over drive.

got my 68 300 out of storage today to find a large mess of red fuild on the floor. took 3 quarts to refill. tranny was professionally rebuilt in 2003 , about 10k miles ago. what should I be looking for?
