    318 poly power pack

Plymouth offered a 318 poly power pack engine option from 1958 through 1962. It included a 4 bbl carb, dual exhaust and a up graded dist vacuum advance and produced 260 HP. The better choice seems like it would be the 350/361 golden commando at 305 HP. For that reason the 318 power pack is a...

    Engine oil prime

Should I expect to see oil at the rocker arms while manually priming a 383? I've got good pressure at the lifters, none coming up through the oil galley to the rocker shaft. Thanks Will.

    Cyl heads.

I may have more serious issues then I would wish for with my 67 Polara. I've been chasing a "miss" since I got it running and driving. I thought i'd run a compression check yesterday. Easiest access to plugs is #1, so I started there. No compression.... I thought perhaps the gage was defective...

    Gas line syphon

Has anyone else experienced problems getting gas to flow from the tank to the fuel pump? I've had this issue before and could not figure a logical reason for it. 318 questions

I'm wondering if late 318 FI heads will interchange with a early, (1969) LA 318 and what is involved to make the swap. Just thinking ahead. Thanks, Will.

    318 air filter housing

I was out messing with the Admiral and discovered an anomaly with the air filter housing. Application....... 1969 Fury 318 with factory A/C, 2bbl carb. I noticed the service sticker on the side of the housing was facing the firewall. I removed it and sure enough the "embosse front" was also...

    Oem aux trans cooler

I installed the factory auxillary transmission cooler I found on Jazebelle today. Didn't even have to drill a hole to mount it. This should take care of any overheated transmission I might have had towing the pop up to Carlisle.
