I'm wondering whether I should install a roller camshaft when the 440 in my '73 Imperial is eventually rebuilt? Just that there seem to be concerns about the reduction of ZDDP in oils and the roller cam isn't affected by this. Oils are different down here in OZ but wanted to get an opinion. John

Hi guys, My friend Perry asked me to inquire what temperature range a 1973 imperial 440 should run at, as ours is running hot. Around 190 or ??? She made the 1500 miles in good shape though used a quart of oil every 400 miles so probably requires an engine rebuild, but our mechanic will advise.
