General Information
So, it's very late in the Photo Garage game for me, but I'll lead off with this one as it's a fairly pivotal moment for the Old Girl and I:
Yesterday was the final check over the old girl before the drive home next weekend. Top off the brake fluid, torque the lug nuts, lube the front u-joint, check the trans fluid, and make sure all the belts & hoses looked good. Dumped a little gas in the carb, hit the key... click. Again... click. Dang, I've had a trickle charger on this battery for 4-5 years now and it has always worked great! Put the jumper cables on my commuter car and let the battery charge for 10-15 minutes. Hit the key again... click. Solenoid. Rats. This starter solenoid might be the original one, and it decides to act up the week before the big drive? Why do Mopars have to be cantankerous? After shorting across the solenoid terminals a couple times, it seems like she's back to acting normally again. For now. Will be ready for her next week, though.

This may be the last photo of her in the shop she has lived in or near since November 2004. The good news is that she'll be residing in MY garage starting next week and I won't have to make a 70-mile one-way trip to work on her like I have since 2004. Hopefully that means she'll be making faster progress from now on. Hopefully she can make the trip without any drama...
