1969 Dodge Polara Convertible. 120,000 miles. The engine is 383 that was originally a 2 barrell, updated to an Edelbrock 4 barrell with electric choke. Electronic ignition also added. I found the car in a small suburb just South of Chicago, back in September of 2011. Although I had a Fury in high school, I didn't even know what the heck this thing was, I never saw one before. "Courted" the nice fellow who was selling it for several weeks before bringing her home. Nice guy who sold it to me at a nice price, knowing I'd take care of her. The car already had headers and a aluminum radiator with an auxilary fan. It's an older restoration that we driive as often as we can. The car sports a baby seat and the trunk can hold as many strollers, coolers and picknick baskets as our Durango does!
