I Just picked up this chrysler 300 when my dad passed and it was garaged since 1980.
It only has 55,000 miles on it.
One really cool thing I noticed is that the rear shocks have an air line to each one. It says max psi is 150 so I filled it to 75 and it raised the rear like 2".
Wa

Is that stock ??..

Nice car! Hope you're keeping it.
Probably after market airshocks. Very common back then. That huge trunk could fit a lot of luggage. Air shocks would help keep car level.
We'll look forward to more pics of car. Looks like an interesting color combination.

Thank you. Although it was garaged for so long and there is zero rust on any of the body panels I am concerned about the frame. It looks really rusty.

I’m sure somebody here can tell you exactly where to look for common rust-out spots underneath. Hopefully just surface rust. Love the color combo. Not one i’ve seen before.

VERY cool car! And awesome mileage! My 70 Newport has air shocks also; not sure if it was a dealer option though.

Nice looking car. I like the 300 cars. Especially the Hurst 300s. I really like how yours is gold with the white interior and top. What engine, Assuming a 440? Two thumbs up:thumbsup:
