Don't know which is more impressive- the car, or the roof of that house? Is it some sort of metal that simulates clay tile?

It's actually clay :)
Cleaned it last year, and it's treated to resist moss... :)

How was the instrument panel kept so pristine all those years?

The upholstery is stunning also!
Beats me.....the car is imported from Texas a few years back, so one would guess the sun should have made a job on it... Probably been in garage most of the time i guess.... :)

Never thought much about owning a New Yorker. Mainly because New York represents all things liberal to me. But if you ever want to sell this car, I would be willing to buy it. Then put original wheels and covers back on. It is quite a bit classier than my 1972 Newport.

Great looking car!
I own a patina 71 newyorker and looking to put some new tires and wheels on, how much inch are you using?
