66 Sport Fury

My slow progress to a fun street machine.

General Information

Well as of today I’ve finally started being able to work on my car some thanks to a massive slowdown in my work due to COVID-19. It’s been a very busy last few months without much time to give the ole girl some love. I finally fired up and broke in my motor and I’m fixing to put it back in the car and get started on paint.

66 sport fury. I'm the second owner. No rust. No replacement panels. Running driving when I got it 3 years ago. I didnt like what I found when I tore into the motor to freshen it up so I started all over again. Still working on her but shes slowly getting there. 383 zero deck now, alum eddy heads, 6cc dome tops, comp custom grind, roller tip adjustable rockers 1.6 to 1, Torker intake, quick fuel carb, tti headers which fit and clear everything might be really tight but they clear, cope racing pro street 727 due to my original being full of water and the cost for me to rebuild and upgrade to 24 spline, Dakota starter, alum rad with electric fan set up, fixing to get custom interior by me lol, and paint by me as well lol. Well a little more progress today I hand mounted a tire on my new wheel and found out that a 275 60 15 will fit under the back with plenty of room to spare.
