65 pace car

General Information

The 65 pace car is now in winter storage, but i did finally get her running. Installed an electronic ignition on the 383, along with a hi rise 4 bbl. Runs great, but now i need to wait for spring. It was worth the 5 months of wrenching, and i also had a new windshield installed.

The column is original, but someone in the past switched out the original floor shifter . The fender tag shows it came with a 4 speed, even has the cutout in the floor.

Beautiful car. No offense, but I would suggest you get on the minor rust problem before it becomes a major repair as in floor pan replacement. I like the first generation electronics, they are so simple to work with.

If you ever find red vinyl door panels, I will buy the beige ones off of you. They look to be in much better shape than the one on my Fury III

I worked on it all summer just getting it on the road. New top and paint will be done in the spring.
