It was sold to San Diego when new and it was equipped with a California Air Package CAP and did not had a factory Aircondition. It was equipped with an aftermarket A/C instead, I guess for cost reasons. Car has a 383 cui with 727 transmission, black vinyl interiror with bucket seats. Original paint was green mettalic. Oversprayed somewhen in USA before export to Germany. A lot of things have been done since I own this car. Found it in Mobile.de and bougth it in September 2001. The car sat in a barn for ten years before. Shortly after it was imported to Germany the power steering box failed. Previous owner parked it, but Never fixed it. When the barn was going to torn down for a new building, the car had to go. So it sit outside over the Summer looking for a new owner. I was looking a while for exact this model and thougt there will be no such chance later any more. I bougt It blind, can‘t testdrive it without power steering and no brakes. I had very much luck, the car was very solid without any rust on the floor pans. I needed to fix the brakes and and put in a rebuild Cardone steering Box.

Since 2001, I have installed disc brakes on the front, rebuild the frontend and switched to a borgeson steering gear Box. Put on new american racing torque trust wheels, fixed the timing chain, and put a new demon carb and weiand intake on the engine. The interior was refreshed with new black vinyl covers on the front Seats.

Hope you got sheltered garage space for this beauty!

Factory air was an expensive option. In those days, people bought aftermarket A/C from vendors like Sears. I saw ads at the time for $299 or less.

To find a suitable Garage is very difficult in Germany, especially in the Stuttgart area. Standard garages were build for beetles not for landyachts. Luckily I found a good Place.

Sweet Twins! Way to go. How do you like your Demon carb? Which carb on the the other Black Beauty?
Send interior pics when you are ready. Thanks for sharing and keeping them alive. :)

Hi, Very nice car and nice wheels. I'm thinking of switching to american racing rims. What size do you have on your rims?

Spent the last few days looking thru a older tread about wheels and tires.
Saw some great combinations, but your twins are stunning !!!
