Ayilar's 1971 Monaco 440

This GY9 Monaco was bought at Carlisle by two brothers around 2002. They kept in an upstate NY barn, then sold the car to John N. ~17 years later. I became the fourth (or more?) owner in the winter of 2019, after he'd repainted the outside burgundy.

Looks like a pretty nice car. like the color, what is it? White vinyl top sets off the paint. Any more pics? Also looks like a railroad bridge in the background too.

Thanks! The original color is GY9. The car was repainted in a shade of burgundy by the previous owner. Luckily, the interior is in very good original shape (except for the steering wheel, the original was a rimblow unit and an owner at some point replaced it with a basic Polara one -- I'll swap back once I find the correct unit at the right price.

Thank you! I looked at your wagon thread and pics, thank you for sharing -- I wish you all the best with the sale.

The B&W photo is based on a great pic that @71Polara383 took of Medina in Rockford, IL. I like the setting so much, that I have added this "period version" to the garage.
