Minnesota Garage Stall Shell Game In January

The new 73 Imperial arrived in January. Had to flop 69 Impala spot on end unit because the Imperial is so big it takes too long to squeeze it in a middle stall (back and forth and back and forth, etc...) with care. Now it slides right in on the end.

General Information

The pups enjoyed running some fuel through the cars in Minnesota waiting for Spring. The 73 Imperial sure does dwarf the 69 Impala. I Love it. So fortunate to get a chance to get it. I love the Burnished Red. It's a little dusty from the transport. Once it gets warm I'll get the bucket and hose out.

Do the dogs point to the car they want to ride in? Looks like the Imperial won that day.

Hope you protect those beautiful care from the salt on the Minnesota roads.

Fess up! How much money did it take to pry that Imperial away from the owner?

Two beautiful cars. I really like the tail light setup on the '69 Impala.
Thanks Oliver...The 69 is fun to drive and gets a lot of attention...I love 4 doors mostly...But, I couldn't say no when I saw this gold beauty.

DocMcNeely: I'm in Fort Dodge, Iowa and have family in Minnesota (Shakopee). I have two Formals ('75 Imperial 4 door and a '77 NYB coupe bothe Dk. Blue) also a 1960 Imperial Crown Coupe also blue. Do you know of anybody in your area with another 1974-'78 Imperial or NYB coupe? Parts for those years or maybe earlier? Thanks..... Robert Saigh

Hello Robert,
That's a nice sounding stable of cars! I am just a minute from Shakopee, MN. I am aware of a huge Mopar guy in the area with quite a sizable collection. Remarkably, no Imperials or NYB's to my knowledge. I suppose the Farmington Mopar show in June will bring out several locals. There are a couple Furys around...as you can imagine I keep my eyes peeled for C bodies when on the road. Very slim pickens...probably why the *Imperial(s) draw attention when driving them!

What a gorgeous Imperial!! Impala is sharp too. I'm from Minnesota as well. Grew up in Fridley. I bet the pups are looking forward to ride in the classics too!!:steering:

Thanks. The pups love all of the Imperials and get rides in them all and with the windows down.
