Ray's Red Ride

67 Red Newport Convertible

General Information

1967 Chrysler Newport Convertible. rebuilt 383 w/later 4bbl intake, Edelbrock Carb, new fuel tank and lines, new brakes, tires, interior, top. Weeks of block sanding in prep for original color , scorch red. I've owned my Chrysler for almost 30 years, and only this past summer brought it for it's first cruise as a finished car, but there are still some trim and upgrades i'ld like to do. It now runs like new and I would drive it anywhere.

Never knew that red was a factory color for Newports. I've never seen a red one!

Hope you have got garage space for that beauty. Don't see any in the rustic surroundings.

Paint code PP1, scorch red. When I painted it 20 years ago, I used 1970 dodge rally red, but it never looked right with that color. Recent repaint was correct and nice!

Gorgeous car! Not to be nosy, but what is that pink and yellow apparatus wrapped around the upper left bumper end?
