I am considering my project road worthy after 12 years almost to the date. It has been 30 years since it has been driven. Last significant trip was from Ft. Benton, Mt. to Loveland, Co. in 1988. On June 1, 2007 I picked it up from Colorado and hauled it to Fargo. It has been under construction since.
Today I am driving to Stillwater for Midwest Mopar’s in the Park. 250 - 270 miles depending on my route.
Here goes.

Best of luck and enjoy the trip. That's a great show! (yes I have been to it)

The car is ready more than you are. :)

Took the longer way. Stopped in Lake Park at Midwest Rod and Custom where the car spent about 10 years in body pay as you go. It was early so only the office manager was in. She took lots of pictures.
This was 40 miles into it.

In Wadena MN. Topped off with gas. About 11 mpg at 70-75. Seems to be running great.

Saw a C by Perham Mn. It has been at that same place for 3 years. It has been moved. I slowed down to 60 to take the picture.

Made it with no issues. Crossed the Mighty Mississippi 3 times.

Second fill up was around 13 mpg.

There must have been close to 18 - 20 C-bodies here today. They didn’t quite have room for them all.

My biggest wha been is there something that goes between the tail lights?
I had to send my tail panel and bezels back to the platers to fix. When they shipped them a couple of weeks ago they packaged them too tight with their banding machine and bent them in. Had to send them back to fix. About 2 weeks they said today.
Clear gorilla tape is my friend.
Some shiny pieces aren’t going to stop me.
