American Excellence and Model Car Group have announced that BoS (Best of Show) will be releasing a large 1/18 scale replica of a 73 New Yorker this summer.

BoS tends to release a single color. If demand calls for a second production run, they do the second run in a different color. I have one BoS 1/18 scale car. I have the black 65 Imperial Crown 4 door hardtop. Its a very heavy model with beautiful detail, especially on the grille. But, be aware that 1/18 scale BoS models don't have any opening features. Hood, trunk and doors do not open. There is zero chassis detail, but it looks great sitting on the shelf.

Thanks, if they do one Black on Black, or Dark Blue and White it Will be on my shelf also.

The first thing I'd do is remove the bumperettes.

Man that's cool.. I have small 1/18 collection of ALL red cars I started back in 1992 when I was stationed in Naples Italy, id gladly add this NY'kr to that collection. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the release.
