This 1956 Chrysler Windsor sedan is finished in white and turquoise over brown vinyl and black fabric upholstery. Power is from a 5.4-liter V8 paired with a push-button PowerFlite two-speed automatic transmission, and features include power steering, an aftermarket AM/FM radio, and steel wheels with chrome covers. The seller’s father reportedly acquired the car approximately 12 years ago. This Chrysler Windsor is being offered by the seller on behalf of their mother with manufacturer’s literature and a clean North Carolina title.
  • The bodywork is finished in white with a turquoise roof and side spears. Equipment includes a stylized exhaust tip, tail fins, and chrome side mirrors and bumpers. Various paint chips and imperfections are present and can be seen up close in the gallery below.
  • Steel wheels feature chrome covers and are mounted with wide-whitewall tires. A full-size spare is found in the trunk. Braking is through drums at all four corners.
  • The cabin has reportedly been reupholstered and houses two rows of bench seats trimmed in brown vinyl with black fabric inserts and matching door panels. Black carpets line the floors, and amenities include power steering, rubber mats, a push-button AM radio, and an aftermarket FM tuner mounted under the dash.
  • A two-spoke steering wheel with a chrome horn ring sits ahead of a black-painted metal dashboard that houses a 120-mph speedometer and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 66k miles, around 500 of which have been added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
  • The 5.4-liter V8 is topped by a single carburetor and sends power to the rear wheels via a push-button PowerFlite two-speed automatic transmission. The seller notes an oil change in early 2022.
  • Areas of corrosion are visible on the underside, and additional photos are provided in the gallery.

One of my favorites. Exterior and interior colors both look good in isolation but, to my eyes, they don’t go well together. I wonder if the repaint was in the original color.
