Super nice Imperial, won't last long at that price

youd think for 30 grand theyd at least push the car out wash it and take some real pics...
the layer of dust on it suggests it hasnt been out in a while...

What would you actually do with a vehicle like that? I doubt it would be any fun to drive it.

I'm of a different school. If it's been sitting that long, sell it to me like that. Sure an effort may yield more cash but as a buyer, don't touch it. I wanna buy the dust too

i can understand that,i was more pointing out the facts of the ad.
like,he says it runs and drives great and has won shows!
but theres a battery charger laying on the fender and what appears to be a brand new battery installed and the coat of dust as well.

which would indicate that the car hasnt been driven in quite some time in reality.
there may be all sorts of things gone bad on it.
that was my angle onnit.

i have bought certain cars before tho, where ive said no,Dont fire it up,ill do that later.
dont do a thing to it.

Biggest problem with these are the front seats don't move. They were all custom built with the front seat adjusted to however tall your chauffeur was. I'm 6'4" so that makes it a problem for me, I don't know if I could even drive one comfortably. Plus they had over 500 lbs of lead added to fill in all the seams. Still want one...

I’m 6’1” but had no trouble with the immobile front seat itself on my 1964 Ghia-Imperial. The main problem it and any of my other 1964 and 1965 Imperials had was that the steering wheel being too far away. I added tilt to my 1965 LeBaron which helped by bringing it a little closer but the real solution was when the tilt-and-telescope came in 1966 although there was no easy way to adapt it to a 1964 due to the push-button transmission and pretty much impossible on the older models without having a custom column made.
