Selling my 63 300 hardtop coupe. Red, with a factory white/black interior. 383 4bbl, dual exhaust, and 727 push button automatic trans. Restored, this car, with it's red exterior and white interior would be pretty striking.

This car belonged to my father since the early 90’s and I brought it out to Michigan from New Jersey last summer. It had been sitting for most of the last 15 years. I got it running, flushed all the fluids, and adjusted the brakes so that I could drive it. I had aspirations of restoring it, but I have a number of projects in the works, with limited space and funds, so unfortunately it’s going up for sale.

It runs, drives, shifts and stops though I’ve only been driving it locally. The engine runs strong, but the trans probably needs some attention, as first gear is sloppy. The body is decent, and the car looks great from 20 feet, though as you can see in the pics, it needs restoring. The bottoms of the quarters are rusty, and there’s significant rust in the front floor pans, and some bubbling in the rockers. I put temporary pans in the front floors to keep the interior safe from the elements but they definitely need to be done. (See pics.) The frame, rear floors, the cowl, and trunk are solid. I lowered it and put the keystones on it with new white wall radials, because I personally dig the early boulevard cruiser, Larry Watson era look, but if that’s not your thing, the rear spring blocks come out in about 15 minutes and the torsion bars car easily be turned back up to stock height. Inside, the carpet is new, and the rest of the interior is original. No cracks in the glass and most of the trim is in good shape. It has a clear Michigan title in my name.

I welcome any questions and would be happy to show the car.
Cash talks, though I may entertain possible trades for other Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth, Desoto... Might even entertain an older mopar truck, or a station wagon or something. Cant hurt to ask, but don't be insulted if decline. (If I exchange one car for another, I'd still have to explain to my wife why there are too many cars in the driveway, so a trade would need to be worth the oncoming storm.)

Asking $3850 obo.

Almost forgot to put my contact info. Sometimes it’s easier to call me, since I don’t get to check in on here all the time. I’ll post when the car is sold, but until then, feel free to call/text me at 2four8-409-8142
