My 1963 300 Pacesetter has a bare, black metal dash. It looks great. It looks 100% original. But, I think I've seen pictures of Pacesetters with a padded dash. I don't see an obvious way a padded dash could be applied to my metal dash and still incorporate the passenger side grab handle. Was an alternate padded dash an option? Pardon my ignorance, and pardon my eyesight if I'm off base about seeing pictures of padded dashes in these cars. I'm just curious about what variations of the '63 Pacesetters were offered.
Round steering wheels? "Square" steering wheels? Both are out there. I've seen a few cars that portend to be Pacesetters, but they set my "spidey sense" tingling.
I'm new to this collectable Chrysler world, and want to be better informed. I appreciate the depth of knowledge available from all of you. Thanks in advance.

I'm no expert on those cars, but based on what I've seen, the round steering wheels are on tilt/telescope columns and the square wheels on the fixed columns.
