Currently looking to keep her as bone stock as possible, which does not appear to be too difficult,
as there does not seem to be a lot out there to offer these "C" body cars.

Anyway, if anyone has a lead on parts/donor cars, I'd be interested. Thanks!

Ken

Welcome to the FCBO site Ken!:sSig_greetingsthor:
I am fairly new to the site as well & can only offer that you try Murry Park.
Google the name. He's in Ohio.
He may be able to help.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! I agree with mr fixit, that would be my first call. Let's see some pics.

Welcome aboard here is another place that you can find some of the really tuff detail stuff for your 300. http://www.garygoers.com/

I have used Murray Park several times I don't know what he would have for your car but definitely worth asking. He is a postman so this is his secondary job. Good luck. We like pictures here. We would love to see some of your car.

thanks everyone! I called Murry yesterday, waiting for call back. Posted pics of my 300K this morning.
Anyone ever see any of these around? I've had the pleasure of owning her for years, and have never seen
another one local to me, at ANY car show or cruise. :)

Nice looking car and the long rams no less!
I don't see too many of these locally but if you end up spending any time with us you'll likely see the ones that are left and out in the public eye between for sale ads and car show pics.

thank you! the 300K was ordered with nearly every option available for 1964.
they were:

  • 1964 BASE PRICE: $4228
  • FIREPOWER 390 ENGINE $375 Cross Ram Injection 390HP, 485 ft/lbs torque
  • POSI REAR END $52
  • POWER WINDOWS $108
  • POWER SEAT $102
  • AC/HEATER $510
  • 5 BUTTON AM RADIO $93
  • LEATHER INTERIOR $94
  • SEAT BELTS $7
  • HEAVY-DUTY SUSPENSION $36
  • TILT WHEEL $47
  • UNDERCOATING $18
  • ALL WINDOW TINT $43
  • POWER ANTENNA $26
  • REAR SPEAKER w/REVERB $53
  • REMOTE DRIVER'S MIRROR $??

I check online from time to time to see what's out there. Luckily, I have spare parts, a garage,
and NAPA seems to still carry stuff over-the-counter.
I love this car, and drive her year round. The power is like nothing I've every driven.
The torque is amazing. She's got a 2.73 rear, 8 3/4" Sure-Grip. I tach 2k @ 60mph, 3k @ 90mph,
3500rpm and I'm at 120mph, (speedo stops counting at 120). And she has more.
Even with the tall rear end, she lights the tires at any stop light. I've surprised (and beaten)
many a Mustang GT, Camaro, Subaru, etc...... LOL

Owned her for 3 years. See the usual Chargers, Cudas, Scamp, Dart, Valiant, Duster. Have never seen another "Banker's Hot Rod" LOL

I think you'll fit in quite nicely here.

Ken! You do know That you have probably the formost authority on the entire planet on the Ram "K"s rite there in Bean Town don't you? He and his Bride are hosting the 50th anniversary of the 300 "K" at the 300 Club spring Meet from June 11th-14th this year in Mystic, Ct. P.M. Me if you need more info, Jer
