It seems like every catalog I look at has no C body's only A,B, and E bodies. I'm new to mopar and need some guidance.

Welcome to the C-body world where men are men.
What are you doing and somebody here will guide you to what you need.

Catalogs are for wimps! Anybody can open a catalog, whip out a credit card and buy everything to restore an A, B or E Body. Restoring a C Body takes time, patience, ingenuity and money (can't get around the $$$).

What's your project? We like pics!

If you plan on keeping the car you will need a FSM (Field Service Manual) and a Parts Catalog. You can get them all day long on EBay or you can get a CD from these guys. I have both original paper copies and CD for my 1978's.

They have reproduced paper copies of many manuals and CD's.

Barn find 65 Fury III, 383 auto and air. It spent enough time in the barn that the vermin had their way with the wiring and the carpet. The front seat covers cracked open. It still has a set of bias ply tires on it. They were new when it was parked. It has set for at least 20 years. When you go to look for parts it's like C bodies don't exist.

Many of the vendors like Legendary may have stuff for C-Bodies but you need to call and ask. It seams like I'm saying this over and over and over.

Companies like Evans Wiring http://www.evanswiring.com/ can make a harness with a sample even if not perfect.

Again it may not be listed on their website but they will (most), you just need to call and ask.

I have been working with Detroit Muscle Technology of getting Gaskets and Seals for a 69 Polara/Monaco and some of the parts will work on just about any 69-73 C-Body.

Detroit Muscle Technologies should also have a lot of stuff for a '65 C Body. They used all of my original flat foam and rubber gaskets as templates and made a complete set for my restoration.

:sSig_greetingsthor: .......... :welcome:
Lots of good advice here. Google and ebay are your friend. and of course, here.
Restoring a C body will place you in the realm of real auto restoration instead of the 1-800 or
www.chinesecrap.com category.
Places like Wildcat auto, Murray Park, (as mentioned), Legendary, R/T specialties and several others all cater to the C body crowd. If it's not listed .... CALL.
You've come to the right place for support. ask questions, and good luck...... We like pictures.

Will.

I know your new here, and you probably are thinking ..... dam, my thread has been hijacked. But that's what we do here, so don't worry. It will come back around to your original subject eventually. Hang in there.

Now call 1-800 chinese crap ith your dial phone and see where you'll end. ;)

I second the ebay/goooogle approach. I've found all new or NOS parts for mine so far with those.

Here's a good site I just came across for new decals for your engine compartment, trunk, jack, etc, and most are applicable to all Mopar body styles. I found all new reproduction decals to detail my engine compartment here:
