This car is mine.
1965 Dodge Monaco
383, 727 Torqueflite
Clean title
RR-1 Beige
53,259 Original Miles
This car is a Texas car.
Unfortunately car sit in the same spot for 30 years from 1987-2017 and never moved.
Good
Chrome is all really nice to include the bumpers
Since it was a Texas car, it's completely solid
Floors, rockers, doors quarters, everything is very solid.
Solid frame
Bottom of the car is clean little to no rust not even surface rust.
All windows are good
Car is intact and I have everything for the car it left the factory with.
Have all of the paperwork to include the original title, registrations, etc.
Bad
Engine is locked up (from sitting for 30+ years)
No brakes
Interior is all intact and sun baked, but dry.
Trunk pan has a few holes in it (Trunk weatherstrip leaked). Rain got in.
Front passenger fender was hit at one point, not bad but is damaged.
Yes, it has Polara tail-lights right now. I have the Monaco tail-lights one lense is broken.
Antenna is broken off.
I bought the car with intentions to restore it. It would be a wonderful restoration project because it's all there and more solid than most northern cars we are use to. Though I have too many projects right now and need to sacrifice one car to get another project on the road.
A lot of really desirable C-Body parts on this car. Most all are original as it was never driven very much. Like to see it saved and restored but that's up to the buyer. It would be a very nice parts car as well.
I have part of the original build sheet found under the rear seat.
I'd be happy to answer any questions any members would have.
$2,000 OBO
I'm also posting the car on Craiglist. I'm about 30 minutes from Carlisle.
