Rare 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury "Super Commando" | 383c.i. HiPo V8 | 4-Speed | 8-3/4" Rear Axle with Posi Traction!

This Fury has spent its life in Virginia prior to being brought up to Michigan years prior.

This car has been well maintained and drives just as it should! Much of the interior has been restored; however, the exterior has been left alone. Do not let this old paint job fool you! The body is straight, and rust-free! Included with the sale is a dust cover, full size spare with jack, and a clean title!

Looks like a lot of fun to me. Wish I could put eyes on it myself to see if it looks as good in person.

No "Super Commando" in 1965. Posi Traction?? SMH.

I can't decide if the rear wheel opening is right or not. Hard to tell. This is one of those cars you want to see in person.

It's always tough to tell what creative body work may or may not have been done in photos. It has the skirts (not a fan) but no pics of them installed.

Look at the photos closely. It's not a Sport Fury. Bench seat made me look at the fender badges.

This one was FS on FB or CL awhile back for a much lower price, it is now in the hands of 'the broker market'.
My memory of it back then was that it seemed to be a mostly-honest car.
I haven't bothered to read any further on it now, so have no opinion on what BS a broker might be spouting on it, except that they have priced it even higher.

It is posted in the 'factory 4-speed thread'.

Flip #2 is this current listing, at $25,995.

Nice car but not a Sport Fury. Fury III interior and badging. Sport Fury got bucket seats and different door panels along with the badging and engine turned side moldings.

From the ad:
"Do not let this old paint job fool you! The body is straight, and rust-free!"
That's a euphemistic way of saying 'the most expensive part of the restoration has not yet done."

IMHO, this car was probably a pretty fair buy at the original ~$12k price. But no longer.
