Good Morning trusted friends. I have a job coming up on my car and will have to remove the front fenders. It has been so long since I have done this on a slab sided "C" body I have forgotten do I have to remove the cowl cover over the wipers to get at the rear upper retainer bolts? If I do are there any tricks so I don't break the windshield? Thanks in advance. Bill

The cowl.cover should come with a few screws and some clips that hold it in, like a door panel. The trim might be your biggest issue.

Doesn't matter. '65 through '68 you have to pull the cowl cover because the upper mounting nuts are under it. It's no big deal. Some screws, the wiper arms, and the windshield base trim. There should be almost zero risk to the glass when removing those items.

Jeff
