Decided to sell my 66 Newport project. This is a life long Arizona car. It has been parked since 1993 when the owner wasn’t able to drive anymore. I’ve not had it running since owning it and I don’t know when it last ran. The engine turns over so it’s not locked up. Trans fluid looks good too. Basically this car will need all the fluids changed, cooling system checked, brakes gone over etc..... stuff you’d expect to do to get it mobile again. it’s a 383 2 barrel big block, Factory AC, power steering, power drum brakes, 727 trans, 8 3/4 rear. It rolls and steers fine.
The body is very nice. Only has some minor rust starting on the lower right quarter which I have pictured and circled. Trunk floor has some surface rust but no holes or weak spots. Right front fender has a dent on the leading edge. Everything else looks nice, even the bottom of the back window. All glass is good too, bumpers are nice and all the trim/bright work is there. The grille is damaged but I have a replacement with some replacement trim in the trunk.
Tre interior needs cleaned up. It has some plain looking upholstery covering the original seat covers, which I assume are torn up. The dash is nice and complete! Carpet is dirty but could be saved.
I can transport this car anywhere between Phoenix and Tampa Bay Florida between the dates of October 15th, 16th or 17th for a good rate! If you have any questions about it, please let me know.

$2500

That looks like a great project car! Good body, nice color combo and A/C.

GLWS!

That puppy needs to find a good home. Looks like it has good bones without seeing the undercarriage. Reasonable price too, given the options. Good luck with the sale.

I see these, and I get closer and closer to building a pole barn to fix and store these, I'd drive a different one every day!

Damn! Gotta see what the Babushka says. This would make a GOOD sister to Mathilda down here in Tucson!

Do what you must. You need to liquidate that thing. DON'T wait on me, as I have none too many turnips to squeeze blood from.....

Good luck!

$2000 for a really clean Arizona car. I can still work a deal with someone on shipping it. But it needs to sell this year, not next spring.

Oooooh! I'll notify the Babushka! If I was single, I would LEAP at this. Will see.....
