'66 Fury 1 for sale. No Sheetmetal rust. Was in So. Cal. all it's life, until I bought it. Garage kept and driven 3 times since. All glass there. Interior needs replacing. Needs package tray, jacking tools, trunk mat and a tune up. Comes with a black headliner, but not the original color. It turns on and runs, but idles down. The carb probably needs rebuilding. It is a very solid piece to begin with. Needs 2 pieces of back window trim. Tires are in good shape and rotated every few months to avoid spots. I'd like to get $3,600.
Could I get some pictures of the floor boards and the frame rails? Tried to send private message but it says your mailbox is full. thanks
It is a very rust-free car, with only a teeny amount of bitty holes in the trunk. It came from southern Cal. It spent its whole life there. I can send some if you are serious. I have to go through a bit of a process to get them off of my phone, into my computer and then on this site. This car is VERY solid.
Unibody with a removable front stub assembly for the engine. Keep the car, drop in a 402 SB and go eat Mustangs.
Now it says your privacy settings will not allow private message. If I could message you, I will give you my cell number and you can just text the pictures.
I was going to have the 318 built by the guys who live in Ky. that get over 500 hp out of them, twin turbo it and add a '66 floor shifter mated to a Muncie or an A833, but I just couldn't bring myself to spoil such an original car. It is quite a time warp.
Jayvan, how do I change that setting? I never excluded anyone from contacting me. At least I don't think I ever did. You just joined, so that might be the reason you couldn't contact me. I sent my number to you.
Ok. Anyways, I enjoy the talk about this car, but we need to keep it about the sale. Sorry folks. The monitor will remind us I'm sure.
67fury, yes, you know that. I have dropped the price low. I have now had lots of interest on it from Craigs and other sites I put it on. Someone from here contacted me and another wants to come see it this weekend.
That a running gag here. Almost all for sale ads seem to have a hose in at least one of the pictures.
