1966 fury loss of power steering

I drove approx 20 miles today starting out with a little stiffer steering wheel than normal
by the time I got home I had NO power steering
I jacked the front end off the ground and still stiff but a little better
With the car on the ground I have to use all my strength to move steering wheel
Reservoir is full and belt is tight.......Help

If you have a full reservoir and the belt is tight I would lean towards a bad PS pump.

The original part number for the pump was 2585532. I can only assume that it is TRW. The below link should be the one you are looking for, but I would call to verify.

no good ....the return line is in wrong position/facing up...mine faces down

It probably has the 5 1/8" reservoir then, not sure what it's number is.
