well i picked up a 66 fury about 2-3 weeks ago and decided i am going to fix it up.
i think it is a really good starting platform to make something custom and cool. we will see what you guys think when its done. i will try to keep this thread updated every day i work on the car. here are a few pics the day i brought it home.

i decided to repaint the car a charcoal gray color and figured i would like if there were no side molding so i took them off and started the body work on the car.

the hood pins on this car looked completly disgusting. so i decided to weld up the holes and put a thin layer of bondo over them...

Nice car, nice work, looking forward to following on..........

....I've GOT to get me a dedicated space to work in. jealous.

Making quick progress I see. Good work!

thanks i am trying to get it done within the next 5-6 weeks

i am doing my own paint and my own interior. i have never tried to do interior before until last week and i gave it a shot and i think it looks amazing! i will get some pics up of the door panel i did.

What motor is in it? Looks like a small block with some mods.

Those wheels look very cool! Do you know the manufacturer info?

Yes, he EVEN has a lift in his space.........the Nerve of some people.

I'm gradually in for one too, just doing a complete front axle overhaul with a workshop jack and the den my father built 40 years ago for some minor repairs, sucks a bit already.

the lift was the best thing i have ever done! i could do without the shop if i had a lift....but the shop is a really good thing, too!
