Why would it have the exterior search light?

No photos of front seats or engine.

1966 Sport Fury $9000 (Canadian) Brampton Ontario

Great Bones to Work.
Obviously Needs Bodywork As Rear Drivers Quarter was Dented and Fill was Used I cleaned Out and tried to repair as only thing needed to be fixed when I tried to get Certified. Brakes are good frame Good. Passenger side Power Window Motor needs to be put back in. As needed to be replaced works great just not installed. Clean rust free Car.

I see the same dashboard that I had in my '65 Canadian Polara. Did Fury's use the same dash in '65 and '66 ?

I know that car from a long long time ago.

Originally a /6 buckets and console car with column shift and a block off plate in the console.

It was originally that pale greeny gold colour if memory serves until a friend of mine bought it from the original owner and swapped in an LA 318 and painted the car Cadillac Firemist Green. That was 40 years ago if it was a minute and it was his 4 season daily driver for at least 10 years. It was in pristine condition when he got it. I don't think it need anything but sanding and paint when he changed the colour. He ran it up into the 90's. It probably looked about how it does now when he sold it except the paint was still shiny.

I remember the car from when I was 12 or 13 years old and I knew then that the console with column shift was not the norm.

Yes. Dodge used Plymouth interiors in Canada.

I think there are some very slight differences between the 65 and 66 dash but you would have to have them side by side to tell.

Yes. I know that. I was asking if fury's used the exact same dash/instrument cluster in '65 and '66.

Interesting combo of search light on a 2 door car

I remember the car from when it was fairly new and I don't recall the spot being there then or after my friend bought it.

Now the guy he sold it too could very well have added it. He was into that stuff. He used to have a 57 Ford with the Edsel Tailight Kit and all that other 60's back in the day stuff. Of course when he had it, it wasn't back in the day yet... lol.

Probably had a dog that was a runner, the spot would sure have come in handy!
Interesting to say the least.

I thought I had a better picture of the dash in my 65 Polara but you can see the speedo bezel is slightly different between mine and the 66 SF. The signal light indicator moved from the bezel to the speedo face itself for one.
