1967 Chrysler New Yorker
Up for sale is my 1967 Chrysler New Yorker. She's a bit rough around the edges, but for a midwest car not bad at all.
Body:
-Miscellaneous dents here and there
-Chrome is all there and looks pretty good
-Vinyl side sails have some bubbling
-Original white paint looks decent, pinstriping done in summer of '18
-Small patches of surface rust here and there, nothing serious and nothing through.
-Original hubcaps
-Trunk, floor, frame all good
Interior
-No carpet, floors are solid. Just needs body plugs to finish floors.
-Door panels need replaced, a previous owner tried to rig speakers in and kinda messed them up.
-Front seat is hashed, might as well replace it. Have a cushion with sheets over for a little better look/feel. Rear seat is mostly good, some seperating seams.
-Headliner looks brand new
-Dash is nice
-Steering wheel has some cracking
-Needs new window and windshield seals
Accessories
-Power front bench works
-AM radio works, speakers are alright
-Power antenna works
-Front two power windows work, driver window needs a bit of help.
-Lights and gauges work, but speedo and odometer are sketchy at best.
-Fingertip power steering
Guts
-440 big block with new cap, rotor, plugs, valve cover gaskets, fuel filter
-727 auto trans
-Posi rear end
-Dual exhaust is mild but sounds healthy
-Strong brakes
Goodies
-Power window switches from a later model Chrysler
-New ignition
-Spark plug wires (might get around to replacing them myself if i have the time)
-Heater motor. Had to take out to change the valve covers, have it in a box.
-1967 Ohio license plates
-A 1984 Family day coin from the plant that manufactured this car.
-Trunk lock assembly (again, might get around to it)
-Custom car cover still in box
The speedo is a bit off, so there is an odometer discrepancy. Overall its a nice car. Runs, drives, stops, and practically oozes style. always gets attention and compliments. Use it as a classic driver, show car project, or even show it as is!
I'm looking for $5000 cash OBO, or trade for another running driving V8. Especially interested in old mopars, hearses, wagons, and fin cars. Also interested in Porsche 944s, cop cars, just generally something interedting and fun to drive! Let me know what youve got, the worst I can say is no thank you! Feel free to ask for more pictures, or videos of it running, I can happily provide both upon request. I i prefer to text, but you can call or email and I'll respond when I can.
