The rest of it is worth about that for scrap, but it appears to have a lot of good sheet metal and a probably good 400 engine and 727 transmission core. Good buy at that price. Dave
My name is David and I'd like to discuss this car with you. My email is davidherr67@gmail.com and if you would like to call me my number is 206-354-3169, this is a Seattle number. Let me know where you're located.
Since you are new guy here, I'll point out that the posts you are referencing in your replies are not posted by the owner (as seen below). They are a link to Craigslist ads which are expired, which is the reason you can't view any pictures.
Got it thanks, I appreciate that. I'm still trying to figure out how this all works. This is the first time I have been in any type of forum at all.
When we see something for sale that could be of interest, some of us tend to post them here for others who may not search in those areas. Sometimes we neglect to put "not mine" in the title or description. You'll get to know the names of those that post many of these ads. Good luck in your search.
That's incredible, it's so helpful. So, if I click on a link, and I have clicked on many, and the link says expired, then I'm out of luck?
Sometimes, a link will be pulled because the seller has given up on trying to sell the car. Most of the time though, it will because the car has sold. The particular car in the ad that was captioned here was selling at its value for iron. The seller probably misidentified the engine as it was likely a 440, 350 horse engine. A knowledge based buyer snapped this car up as he found a $1000 core engine and transmission for $400. Good buys do not last long. Dave
