The car is in very good mechanical condition. There is only minor surface rust on the underbody, and no rust on main body panels. New tires (5 tires including the spare tire, but not white sidewall) were installed about 400 miles ago (2024). There is a complete original jack assembly in the trunk. The engine was completely rebuilt 3000 miles ago at the same time the engine compartment was painted. Electronic ignition modules was installed at the time. I have driven it with confidence on trips up to 300 miles long (one way 300 miles, round trip 600 miles long). Transmission was rebuilt and a new gas tank installed before I bought the car in 2014 when it had approximately 101,500 miles on the odometer. The original 4-barrel Carter carburetor is present and seems to work perfectly. The engine compartment was completely repainted and refinished in 2014 when I bought the car using an original Imperial color (Aegean Blue Metallic color) and the engine was fully repainted with the original turquoise blue color. The air conditioner compressor was fully rebuilt about 2 years ago, but the slide control for temperature adjustment stopped functioning (compressor runs, but air coming through the vents is not cold - perhaps a vacuum leak in the line that actuates the heater vents to provide temperature control). The AM radio is functional (including the telescopic antenna, but the radio intermittently shuts off at times. After about 20 minutes, the radio will work again (loose connection in the antennae wire??). The electric clock on the dashboard does not work. All other dashboard and interior controls work perfectly (power seats, light switches, speedometer, odometer, oil
pressure/engine temperature/battery charge/etc.) work perfectly. The following new parts were
installed in 2015 (about 3000 miles ago): all four shock absorbers, both front torsion bars, windshield
washer tank and motor. The car passed a complete MOT safety inspection in 2014 in Ontario, Canada in
order to allow for license plate to be issued.
