Well I picked up a parts car that's been hit in the rear pretty good. It has quite a few parts that I can swap onto my driver.. I'm hoping someone can help me decode these numbers as there's a few more than what my other car has

Hi, I'm sure if the car has drive train, there will be members who say. "Don't scrap" anyway 383hp w/sure grip, Power door locks, power driver 6way seat, Power windows, RH mirror, ordered car and 2436 made. with all engines.

The car has been sitting since Pepsi used that logo in the picture, with the passenger side window down. It needs floors and complete interior restoration. At the very least I have a backup parts car living in Montana.. I just clipped a deer a couple of months ago in my Tahoe. I'd swap the parts as needed keeping 2 complete cats, albeit one will be pretty banged up as the years go on.

Amazing how the taillights survived with the carnage surrounding them.
She is a rare car but can be an excellent parts car to keep others on the road.
I see a few things I'd like. But my 67 does not need much.

PM sent. As for the tag decode, this is what I get:

Here's what I get:

a6 -
b5 -
d6 -
h7 -
j4 - pretty sure it's a side-trim code
k7 -
u1 -
A1 -
H2 -
J4 -
K8 -
R2 - radio (am with front/rear speakers) or maybe FM radio?
S1 -
X1 - all tinted glass

A4 - 3.23 rear axle
X8 - sure grip (!)

TRM - P6R premium grade vinyl on the bucket seats, red interior
PNT - WW1 (monotone white)
UBS - H (upper door frame paint) H is Tan?

62 - 383 4bbl
5 - automatic trans
635 - 8.55 x 14 tires white wall (4 + spare?)
C19 - December 19 (scheduled build date)

It's a Monaco 500 (console, bucket seats, fender turn signals, wide side trim). Was the 500 package indicated on the TRM code? Was the 3-spoke steering wheel part of the 500 package? Or did all US Monaco's get that, regardless of trim level, and Polara's (and non-500 Canadian Monaco's) got the 2-spoke wheel?

One of those codes is going to be for A/C. Another code for power windows. No cruise control, no tilt/tele steering. No bumper guards. Check for power (vacuum) trunk release. Does it have shoulder belts? Has the radio been pulled from the dash? Almost certainly made at the Belvedere plant. I'm guessing the vin is going to be DP23H74xxxxxx.

Here's some more pictures. Of the 20 or so coins in her, '86 was the newest which sounds about right for the logo's on drink cans and bottles.

Can someone identify these 15" rear wheels on it?
Someone had changed out the carburetor at some point unfortunately

The distributor is post 1971, the carb is 2bl. air cleaner is 1971 only I'll bet engine has been changed.

There's a small square piece of trim right in front of the door lock/unlock knob. What is that? Also, are those reflectors or lights mounted to the lower rear door panel cards?

The backup lenses look to be in great shape. If you find that you don't exactly need them, I can help with that :)

Hey- There's a '67 Polara 500 car that just came up on kijiji today. It's in Edmonton. No engine I think. But the windshield is intact. $900.

That little metal emblem says power locks. This car still has all of its wicker trim inside it looks like. I imagine that’s not easy to find.

Where were the door lock buttons?
I’m more of an Imperial guy and they have power lock switches by the window switches but I think the other C bodies were integrated right into the knob next to that little emblem.
