1967 Polara 500 convertible 440 auto (project) Chippewa Falls Wisconsin (no price given)
Recently posted to a FB c-body group. Video link is 6 years ago. No idea what the car currently looks like. Picture posted is an example. Interesting 1983 document from Chrysler, stating that there were 1158 1967 Polara 500 convertibles made, and 0.6% (or 7 of them) that came with the 440 Super Commando engine. The broadcast sheet has also been posted, not sure if it's authentic, the fender tag has been asked for. Car was in rough shape based on the work done in the video.
Is anyone here geographically close?
==============
Anyone interested in taking on a 67 polara 500 project? One of 7 with 440/auto. Everything is there, all numbers matching. Make an offer, willing to accept trades for a driver condition 67/68 polara or Monaco.
Here’s a video of the walkthrough.
All metal work has been done. Dipped with NOS quarters. Straight and ready for finishing. I’ve spent an embarrassing amount of money on this. Located in Chippewa Falls Wisconsin. I’ll never come close to recouping even half the money I’ve spent, just looking for something. It’s white with red interior like the first picture. I have a whole album with progress pictures for anyone interested.
