Hello FCBO,

I am looking for a set of headers that will fit my 68 300, does anyone have a lead? Will buy beer for support!

Best Regards,

Preston

Sweet, how hard were they to install? How much? How are the clearances? Can you get the starter in and out with them in? If so does it have to be a gear reduction starter?

My TTI headers are still in the box, so I can't tell you about installation issues. It is very doubtfull that you would be able to change the starter without pulling the header loose. There is an article in the August issue of Mopar Muscle, and it shows them installing one from under the car.

I believe the TTIs that I have were $850. I believe that you can get Hookers that are made for a C-body also but a '67Monaco member here said there were a couple clearance issues. Check out the "Headers for a '67 New Yorker" thread.

Headman Shortys.............. Fit like a glove.

I can take pic of it in the daylight on the weekend if you like (you'll have to excuse the dirtiness of it, been parked since 2008). They are installed on a 383 '68 Newport
