Asking if a trunk lid from a 1968 New Yorker four door would fit a 1968 300 Convertible.

That's really not the part number. That is the reference number to find the actual part number.

You would go to Section 23, sub section 19, line 8.

Of course, this shows one deck lid for all '68 Chryslers, which will assure the OP that it will fit.

So... 23-19-8 would be for all deck lids. Then you break it down to the correct division for the P/N. Thank you for that explanation.
