based off 1 pic - i dont think they are lying too much - look at the inner fender wheel well where the arms go thru - it still has the rubber piece there. ive never seen that piece still being there on any of these old rustheaps that get posted

Regarding the quote "It has a 383 v8 engine.", am I seeing things or isn't that a pad protruding from the block at the base of the intake next to the upper rad hose?

There are hoops to jump through if you're interested in this car. I tried to get information on it more than 2 years ago. My understanding is that the guy selling it is fairly old and the fella helping sell it isn't no spring chicken either. I was very interested in this car and they couldn't/wouldn't get me any more pictures.

Yes, I agree that it looks like there is a pad sticking up there. If we are wrong and it is a 383 it isn't the original engine. NYer's only got 440's in 68.
