I don't care how pristine, how original, that's a whole lot of money for a stripped down Newport.

Maybe the Nicest sedan I’ve seen. I almost don’t mind the B-pillar...almost.

This very rare 1968 Chrysler Newport 4 door sedan in the most pristine condition is stunning and beautiful. This Newport is a showpiece, not a run of the mill driver! It has been repainted a couple years ago and it was a very expensive paint job. The paint is super shiny and the body is straight as an arrow. Although not necessarily considered a "collectable" by purist standards, its sheer condition makes this Newport so. This is a genuine 2 owner car that spent almost it's entire life in Colorado and then in Illinois and showing a very low 43,375 miles. This is true mileage, and the car still looks like it drove off the showroom floor. She certainly looks every bit of a 43,375 mile example. It still sports its original type of spare tire that has NEVER been used. These tires have not been in production for more than 30 years. Finished in beautiful gold metallic ("Sovereign Gold") with a black shiny painted top. It also comes with a cool super clean gold fabric interior. This Chrysler has has been recently gone over by a local workshop and everything is in good operating condition. Having said that, as a result, the 383 cubic inch engine runs smooth and powerful. Brakes are good and the car stops sure and straight as an arrow. All features and functions work well. The body is rust free. The underside is clean and rust free. The whole car is very straight, accident free and has never had any body repair, except for the new paint job. This is evidenced by the original factory stickers and markings on the inside edges and under the hood. The paint, it is stunning with a deep luster and shine, so many hours to get the paint to this level of perfection. There are a few minor chips but nothing major and certainly nothing that needs repairing. It is very shiny, consistent and simply looks great from close and afar. All rubber, glass and trim fixtures are in wonderful condition without any signs of fading, marks or scratches. The hubcaps are without any scuffs or rashes and look perfect. The bumpers and wheel arch mouldings are virtually perfect. The interior is absolutely fantastic! Finished in metallic gold, she looks incredibly sharp. All the chrome on the Newport is perfect. All the glass on the car is also perfect. The whitewall tires have a ton of life left. The dash is perfect without any sun-fading or cracking. All the vinyl and carpets are great. The dash cluster is clean and straight. The steering wheel is without a single crack. The fabric seats are in simply amazing presentation and condition, totally clean and tidy. The interior condition is surely the best testament for a low mileage example, still smells new like old Chrysler's used to smell. The carpets, door panels, handles, switches, knobs and every little item is in excellent shape. The headliner is good without any tears or marks. Otherwise perfect. The interior is without doubt a 9.5 out of 10. Just stunning. The car all round is very original in all respects. Sporting original hubcaps on original rims with gorgeous white wall tires. The car comes with its original operating manual. Never again will you be able to come across a 1968 Chrysler Newport Sedan with this pedigree of excellence. These cars are becoming very scarce, there were not many produced and not many around anymore. Especially like this amazing car. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Asking $19,000 OBO. Serious inquires only! Please call Rich show contact info

That is wath we are talking about : for me such a price for pre 69 cars are unbelivable. And it iis the same to other about fuselage cars.
But other think it is a right price. i do not know about you but I noticed that price have moved up for this kind of mopar ( pre 1969 ) lately ans it is not rare to see price over 10-15 k$.

Can't stand ad's by people with a keyboard missing the return key, on a positive at least the shift key works and it ain't in all CAPS!

If this car were hermetically sealed since it left the dealer it still wouldn't be worth half of it's 18k price tag.

REAL NICE sedan, the contrasting color top improves the looks on these. No options/bells/whistles in the accessories dept., but then again you don't have to worry with keeping them all functioning. Low mileage, un-bastardized original cars from this time frame are getting pretty scarce. Whomever is listing it will hopefully come down to reality on pricing, and it will hopefully find a good home.

This "very rare, stunning and beautiful, straight as an arrow" sedan looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor, eh? F***in' thing came with torn windlace?

Keep your flowery, bullsh** language and invest some energy in getting your head on straight about price there, killer.

Get the hell out of here...

Price wise it seems to me that sellers are looking at a #1 condition (whether theirs is or not) price and now doubling it.
Btw I didn’t say that!

It still sports its original type of spare tire that has NEVER been used

when was the original type spare a radial?

This car has been on ebay for awhile, started at $20k plus IIRC. I've even seen it listed on there twice, at same time, at 2 different prices. Perhaps the lower price is to fool someone into thinking they're getting a discount?

I love the seat fabric, and color combo is great.

and yeah, that ain't a 1968 spare tire!
