Daaaaaaaaaang I want that sure grip.... and disc brakes... Those 2 alone are almost worth the price.
 
Replace my drum brakes, if they'd fit.

Control arms are radically different.
Stub frames are radically different..

But you can use the sure grip.... :D:D:D

Absolute no brainer, wish it were a couple of thousand miles closer and I might think about it.
Non ac, power vents, sentinel, auto pilot, tilt/tele, wow!
It won’t last long!

The Imperial had the 9.25 rear end and the Newport an 8.75 rear. So the Sure Grip won't work either, Correct??

Imperials of this era had 8.75” with 2.94 ratio standard with sure grip optional.
 
I don't even need sure grip, my car isn't running strong enough to break traction with 1 tire.
