Is there anyway of getting the heater core out without removing the windshield, there are screws underneath the windshield to get the dash out? Thanks

Don't have to remove the windshield. It will come down and out, going under the dash.

Would this apply to a A/C car as the heater core is almost 2ft long going from the middle of the dash to close to the end of the dash on the passenger side

It is, there is a lot of removing of parts. Duct, glove box door, glove box liner, vucuum lines, cables, radio, 4 nuts on engine side of fire wall and wire connectors. Unless your windshield leaks. They designed the car around the heater core.

It also helps to remove the right side and center lower dash supports. This way you can pull the bottom of the dash out for a little more room.
