PS: if I see correctly, the car has buckets, which means it should be a Monaco 500. Then again the pattern on the buckets does not seem to match the reference pic available from the Hamtramck Registry.

A 440 Hemi! I'm on my way!
I'll bet it has Hemihedral chambers! Rarity for sure.

Are dodge glove box doors different than newports?
I don't own a 1969 but I'd say that is quite likely. A look at the parts manual will confirm it. Alternatively, a Google search for glove box photos will quickly answer the question.

Seems like a helluva deal, unfortunately at this time its not in the cards for me.

Doesn't look like a Monaco 500 to me, it doesn't have the lower hockey stick moldings like a 500 should. It has the regular Monaco side moldings. Still one hell of a deal if it is an original 440 car.

Did anyone happen to get the phone number on this one? I saw it really early in the morning, so I did not call. There was a phone number earlier and I did not write it down. It has since now disappeared, leaving email as the only option.

He may have taken the number down since he may be inundated with calls. The price is unfortunately too low and may leave the car to an undesirable fate.

I thought the Monaco 500 was a Canadian only thing?
Not in 1969 -- see the brochure at fuselage.de

That would be true for a Polara 500, which sports the now-hard-to-find hockey sticks. Not for the 1969 Monaco 500, which in the USA did not get similar mouldings (Edit: I therefore assume that this Q4 Monaco 500 was a Canadian model; see here for another Canadian example for sale in Edmonton not too long ago).

See here for a live example of a US-model Monaco 500. Interestingly, I see the 500 script on the fenders and also on the grille (high-res pic here). Regardless, no hockey sticks:

PS: for those interested in the 1970 Monaco 500, there are discussions in other threads, including this very helpful post by @Bill Watson re: Canadian models.

So the US Monaco 500 doesn't have the hockey stick trim.
The only mention of a Monaco 500 in US literature is the reference in the Sales brochure (you posted) and the Trim book also posted, both in reference to the seats.
There is no reference to it in the Data book.

Just one page. Multiple pages referencing the three models like this,

Ok one more.

You did not look at the whole data book :poke:

The photo of the B7 Monaco 500 2dr hardtop I posted also shows that a Monaco 500 coupe was not just a "sales materials/brochure" ghost.

Now, back to the Lubbock, TX car: I do not see Monaco 500 scripts on the fenders (bad angle) or the grille, and the seat pattern does not match the data book. So it may be that it is a "plain" Monaco. Perhaps @69monaco can chime in?

I have a US polara 500 model without the 500 in the hockey-stick ......
Hockey-stick with 500 in it is 69 Monaco 500 ( Canada )!!!
