1969 Plymouth Fury Suburban Two-Row - $4,500 - Poplar Grove, Illinois
FB Description
PLEASE READ THE WHOLE DESCRIPTION BEFORE CALLING ME! You are looking at a 1969 Plymouth Fury Suburban Station Wagon. that does not have the rear facing seat in the back. overall it is a clean and solid car. I was told it was from Montana. This was a project that was started by someone and I did some things to it to make it somewhat drivable. Master cylinder (booster has massive vacuum leak) both U joints Steering box (it is now Manual old box was locked up) Idler and pitman arms Front and rear shocks flushed gas tank a few times. New mini Starter. New Headers just a few of the many things I did to it. I have driven the car around the block. Next time I attempted to start it the float sank on the Themoquad so I am done with it! Now its someone else's turn to finish it up. According to the numbers on the block its a 1977 400 that is very clean inside but has oil leaks, with the matching torqueflite 727 that has nice clean fluid in it. Was originally a 318 car Car has an 8-3/4 rear end with 2.94 gears and a sure grip The car was last registered in 1989. its a pretty solid car including the floors. as you can see it has a small amount of rust starting to poke through on both rear quarter panels. (not sure what to call it since this is my first and probably last Chrysler product) But we'll say since its a unibody the passenger front main support is very rusty, as in it has holes in it, but the rest of the underside seems solid, maybe a common thing maybe not? the fact they do make reproductions of these I am going to assume its a common occurrence. there is also a dent on the driver front fender Interior need to be redone as you can see in the pictures I can fill the float bowl so you can hear it run, But it is not drivable and will need to be towed unless you want to bring a carburetor and attempt to drive it. You are more than welcome to do that if you want. but your not rebuilding the car at my house. and I am not going to assure you it will make it any further than I did. the car has a set of shorty headers on it with no exhaust looks like someone had fun with a welder in the distributor to limit advance maybe??? (noticed that when I put new points, cap, rotor, plugs and wires on it before starting it) I have a clean IL. title in my name, in hand. $4500.00 or reasonable offer may be considered. I will not hold the vehicle first person here with the cash and a trailer gets the car. No trades! Cash only! DO NOT MESSAGE ME FOR ANY REASON BUT IF YOU JUST HAVE TOO BECAUSE ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO CALL, LEAVE YOUR NAME, A PHONE NUMBER AND A GOOD TIME TO CALL YOU. OTHTER THAN THAT MESSAGES WILL BE IGNORED. 815-988-3six7three Please no calls before 9AM or after 9PM No offers will even be considered until you have seen the car. If you’re reading this I still have the car. The listing will be removed when the car is sold. So please do not ask if I still have it! Vehicle is sold in AS-IS AS-shown condition. with no warranty of any type. A receipt saying this will be signed by both of us. Vehicle must be picked up in Poplar Grove IL. and again will need to be trailered to its destination
