Won't attempt to get it running, gonna leave that for the buyer.

Nice. I give you $4,000 for it.

Seems like a real nice car, and if it is what it appears to be, $9500 or close to it is a pretty fair price. Also, probably smart of them to not try and start it.

Without the engine running, the car is a roller, to me. The engine is there, and loose, it could easily be started, or attempt to without much hassle, we know this, but if it does need a rebuild, I take that into account with my pricing. If it was a 66 Monaco 500 in similar shape, I might go to $6500-7000. But that's me, and I'm a cheap ***. I realize what the car is and it looks to be in great shape. Knowing it was an inheritance, and the cash only pick it up in person mentality enforces my thinking, to me. "Do you want it or not? Here's my offer." Running, it would be a whole nother ball game. That's my mindset.

This car is nice , is a shame that the seller not wanna take a bank wire and he doesn’t want assist with shipping.
otherwise I would buy it, i send him already a email:-(

ITS WORTH A LOOK !!!

You nay sayers kill me. Perfect cars will slip through your fingers with all the distrust .

Beautiful car. For that kind of money I'd like to hear it starts and runs, though.

For my part, I'd rather they didn't dick around with starting it. If they don't know what they are doing, and the gas in it is bad, an intake valve could get varnished, stick open and crash into a piston. Besides, if it isn't running, that makes for a good negotiating point.
