That tag does have the E85 440 code, but isn't CS43 a New Yorker 4 door? Someone swapped the tag I guess

@Tobias74 — did the seller show you pics of the VIN tags on the dash or door?

PS: looks like this Polara ´vert is currently a member’s car — https://www.forcbodiesonly.com/mopar-forum/threads/welcome-fred-jongeling-to-fcbo.54079/. There was a thread about the car under twice-prior ownership in 2016. It was for sale again in February of this year, by someone called Tony with a different cell phone that the one in Tobias’ screenshot.

PPS: at least we learned what fate befell CS43T2C195127 and (most likely) her 440 engine. That NYB must have been stunning when new, despite the lack of A/C.

Any chance you might get them? It’d be great, after several earlier misses, to finally add this car to the Polara registry started by @polara71 .

OK folks, here is the link to the last time when the car was for sale and @'69FuryIIIConvertible alerted us to it -- in February of this year. At the time, the car was in Petawawa, Ontario.

Strikingly, assuming photos in the Feb. 20 ad were taken this year, the car had a white top -- as it did back in 2016 when @Fratzog posted about it. When I communicated with the then-owner in early March, however, he said that the top had a tear in it. I guess that the top has since been fixed (by the current owner), since the car being advertised for sale now is clearly the same one (cue the painted wheels and the highly unusual interior) but the top is black. If I were facetious, I'd say this V3X choice might be to match the V1X in the '72 NYB tag currently on the rad support, as shown by @Tobias74

Here are more photos taken from the current ad for records. If anyone has the fender tag, I'd love to see it:
