Thought I was looking at a RoadRunner for a sec.
Menacing. The way I remember them. I want it. I don't want ac in this one.

Wish there were a few pictures under the hood, and the interior.

I used to own this car. I bought out of a salvage yard in MT about 10 years ago. It had. Iowa plates in it. Sold it perhaps 3 years ago. It had a stuck 318 in it at that time. Was for sale on Mpls CL in Oct and was discussed here. It did have original paint when I sold it. Interior was pretty rough but I included seats in much better condition from a different 70 Fury I parted.

I forgot to mention that it has a factory painted roof in a lighter green than the main body. I thought that was cool. I have only had one other 70 Fury that was two tone paint.

Are the mounting studs for the body side moldings still on the car? It looks like they are in some of the photos.

billyfury, are those the wheels and tires you had on it? I am looking to fill out my wheelwells on a 1970 Fury, know what size they were? thanks!
Pretty sure I sold it with roller tires and rims. 235 70 15 front and rear are the perfect size for a 70-71 Fury.

thanks for the tip, maybe i have been thinking too much about this... its common to put this size onto stock rims? I think my rims are 5.5in or maybe 6in wide and 237/70/15 are 9.3 inches, that not too wide for stock rims? thanks!

235 70 15 are just millimeters different from H 70 15 which was standard on a GT. Perfect on a road wheel

Was this car sitting at Dan states house a few years back? I seem to remember one just like this that was missing the hood. I was over a few times when he helped me out with parts

Yes. I still have the green hood for it. I offered it to the seller in Wi but he never replied to my email.
