Motor and transmission were removed from a 1970 Chrysler Newport that was wrecked and parked in the late 1970's. The block is stamped F383 near alternator. The casting date on the block is 10/8/69. The casting number on the block is 2468130.11. The engine is stuck from years of storage. Sold "as is" for core.

I've read too many horror stories from guys trying to get a frozen engine unstuck. Too risky in my opinion. Buy it for the TorqueFlite core.

That combo in Finland would cost 3980€ :D
Cheapest short block 383 i have found so far in Finland was 1600€... sigh...

True, but theres a LOT that someone could potentially use for relatively cheap. Its already been sitting, so whats the hurry.... pull the plugs, load it up with some used tranny fluid and wait, and wait lol. Chances are you will free it up as long as it hasn't been damaged by ice. HTH, Lefty71
