Thanks to @70 Sport Suburban and @Boydsdodge for telling me about CE27N0C204738. She is currently for sale on FB in Kawartha Lakes, ON. The ask is CAD 6,000. Yes, you read that right: that is only about $4.5k, the car is one of only 11 known Newport N-code 'verts, and she has several interesting options.

From the ad: "1970 Chrysler Newport convertible, 383HP and 727 automatic, is a factory dual exhaust and 4 barrel car. 69,203 miles on car. Newer 2 1/2” TTI exhaust, electronic ignition, rebuilt carb. Painted yellow by a previous owner, originally gold. Has some plastic in it but shows well. Needs a new top. As is. $6000 cash or bank draft. Listed as a New Yorker sedan, no option for Newport convertible."

Howdy
That looks nicer than mine and cheaper, I assume that it drives as nice as mine. I have fallen back in love with mine. As we are now driving it more.

Looks like a great basis for a restoration project! The original gold would look great with that interior. If I wanted a convertible I'd make the trip!

Beautiful C-Body. If I wasn't in the middle of a "thin-the-herd" of my current cars, I would be all over this one. Has the color of paint and the interior that I would choose, and being a big-block Mopar with a rag-top is the key for me.

Why do I always find the cars that I like when either I am out of money, they are clear across the country, or I am in the process of down-sizing? Life is not fair....

Thinning the herd sounds like it will provide money and space. And I think this one is kinda just north of you. :)
