    Not mine.

CE27LOC128693 (Edit: typo in the eBay ad fixed) is currently for sale on eBay. It seems to be a low-option car (two-speed wipers, front bench, no A/C, no power windows or seats; from the looks of the pedal and what I can see of the engine bay, I even wonder if it has power brakes) but it looks in fine shape overall. AFAICT, it has been repainted in an EW1/EB7 combo.

    BIN price is $9,800.

IT is base, but it's also in excellent shape! Hope the seller gets the price.

Why two different license plates though? Also, yet another '70 missing the front plate holder.

Some states allow YOM plates when you have antique/classic plates on the car..
The state issued plates have to remain in the car when using YOM plates..

Given the condition of the seats and carpet, I am inclined to believe the miles claim on the car. But why is the engine painted black and what was the original color - maybe light green judging from the cowl. Seeing the body code plate would help. The engine compartment doesn't look all that sanitary - wonder if it is the original engine. Lots of questions.

    Agreed.

AFAICT, the interior looks original; if so, and given that the interior is E2B3, the exterior colors are limited as per the trim book: a blue interior would not have been possible with a green exterior. From what I guess of the cowl color, I think the car was originally painted EB3 or EB7.

Edit: This said, I wonder about the carpets. The floor mats are clearly not original, but the carpet itself seem to be black, which AFAIK from the info posted on the Hamtramck Registry Library, is incorrect for a 1970 blue-interior Newport 'vert.
