It cannot be anything else than a 318 : the dissy is at the rear.
A 383 or a 440 have their dissy out front, if I'm not mistaken.

I'm sort of interested also, although I'm on the lookout for a car with minimum a 383. I've emailed the guy 3 days ago asking for pictures of the interior and of the dataplate, but got no answer. But since my interest in the car is kinda mixed up, I did not call him (although I should've).

So the man just called me. Straight shooter. Mopar enthusiast. He’s been restoring Plymouth’s for a while but I guess In his old age his knees have been giving out and had plans of getting to it but would rather see it go to a barge enthusiast.

He thinks the car is originally green from what he said and you can see evidence from the door jambs and cracks. He also said the trunk pan from his words is “non existent” and that it looks like a previous owner just put sheet metal down so that you can’t see the exhaust. It is car is a factory air car and did have some other features that I can’t recall. I haven’t gotten a picture of the fender tag but I will be asking for one. The car has 4 new tires on it, a new brake job and runs and drives around town just fine. New rebuilt carb and new timing chain. **He also said that a previous owner mounted a B&M shifter mounted on the floor. I’ve asked for a fender tag but he’s not that most technologically savvy so it probably won’t happen. I’m headed there in about 3 weeks so I’ll take pictures if anyone’s interested.

I remember seeing this car for sale a couple of years ago for about $6500, its getting more realistic now.

My neck of the woods as well. With trunk that far gone, rear subframe rails and spring perches are suspect. Would have to look hard before I drove it around town.

Hello, have you been able to see the car ?
I'm interested.

No I didn’t end up seeing it based on the description of the trunk. If you’re interested I still may be able to go and see it. It’s about 3 hours or so away from me. I wouldn’t be able to see it until about 2-3 more weeks or so.

The floor in my S23 was totally gone but surprisingly the rear rails were in mint condition, so it may be just a floor replacement needed. Personally though, I doubt there will be much interest in this car simply because it is a 318.

I wouldn't care about the 318 or the trunk if the subframe was solid, you can ebay the engine, trans and build to suit..... I won't have the 3k for a few months and I expect it to be gone by then....... I'm assuming because its a C that it would have an 8 3/4 rear even with the 318

Not necessarily. My 70 Fury 318/904 came with a 8.25" rear. I changed it over to 8 3/4.
